A Muggle in Hogwarts!

People feel they are out of place when it comes to their professional lives.
Its very rare that people get to pursue their passion as a profession.
But who is to be blamed ?

Well is it the mind which always believes that the other side of the fence being greener.Or is it the lack of gumption to take tough decisions. There is no point in cribbing about life at any point, if one needs a change then take a decision and make a move on.

Here is a poem which suits this situation.

Robert Frost (1874–1963). Mountain Interval. 1920.
1. The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. 20

Bribe with a Zero Rupee Note !!

What a way to fight Corruption !!

If an official asks you for a bribe. Pay him !!!
With a fake Zero rupee note that looks like a 500 rupee one! %$#%$^$%

This is a new idea people are using to 'pay' the officials in India.
A innovative way to fight corruption.

Preserve the historic remains.

Europe is the place for tourism. The amount revenue generated from the tourism industry is amazing. India can take a leaf out of their book. We boast of such great culture and heritage. But we have hardly done anything to preserve our historical remains. Except for the very well known sites of historical importance, the remaining are in a state of disarray. If only we could preserve the remains and build the industry before its too late.

I had gone out during a weekend with a couple of my friends. We visited a dilipidated fort before we started a trek in the western ghats. He said ' Maga ondhu kalu itu 2 pound charge madthare, adhana jana nodoke barthare. E thara fort namma deshdalli yest idyo, adhake 10 rupai itru yaru barolla'. [Exact translation: Indians do visit places where there is a memorial[ a stone] and they spend 2 pounds. But there are so many forts like this in our country, even if one were to charge 10 INR people would harldy turnup.

Well i guess we have lost our affinity to our rich culture and tradition. The kings of our country have spent lavishly on magnificent pieces of architechure. The least we can do is to preserve them for our future generations.

Its business time!!

So we have come to the business end of the world cup.
Arguably the best 4 teams have made it to the semis, unlike last time.
It would be a test of character to the big guns in these teams. This will be the last world cup for many of these big names: Jayasurya, Hayden, Kallis, Fleming and many more. Should be treat for cricket lovers. Get ready for some nail biting finishes.

But the big question who will stop the oozies juggernut?

The Big wedding !!

So the much talked about wedding of Bollywood is finally here.
The news is that the bride has married a tree to ward of the evil influence of Mars !!!
By following such superstitious customs, do these people set the right precedent.
But they too have their own lives and insecurities, they too have a right to lead it they way they want.
These people are icons, people worship them. But the stars too have their own life and they lead it their way !
